Dr. Huston is an Associate Veterinarian and has been at Southside since September 2022. She was born in Ohio and moved to Ballinger, Texas in the middle of high school. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a Biology Minor at Tarleton State University. She graduated from veterinary school at Mississippi State University in 2022. The highlight of her education has been traveling to different countries (Honduras, Kenya, and Bolivia) through Christian Vet Missions and working to provide veterinary care to those with limited access. Dr. Huston's Veterinary interests include geriatric care, alternative and holistic therapies, public health, and international mission work. She and her husband Lane have one daughter, Olive, and a farm full of dogs, cats, and horses (with plans to add more creatures great and small to the mix). When not working, Dr. Huston enjoys playing board games, attending theater performances, arts and crafts, camping, watching the Office, and spending time with her family.
