Monique's hometown is San Angelo, but was raised in Del Rio. She moved back to San Angelo in April of 2020. Having always wanted to work with animals she started work at Southside in the summer of 2022 as a vet tech. She aspires to give each animal and client a memorable experience filled with knowledge and to provide educated answers for any questions they may have. She is an advocate for the ones who can't speak for themselves and hopes to connect with each one who walks through the doors. Her future goals include continuing her education in the veterinary field to become a Licensed Veterinarian Technician, and to continue working at Southside and expand her knowledge in surgery and taking care of hospitalized patients. She has a son and in her free time enjoys spending time with him and her family and friends. They have 3 cats, Mikasa, Zenovia, & Bennie.
