Jamie has been with Southside Animal Hospital since June of 2016. She is responsible for maintaining inventory and assisting with other administrative work. Southside is very grateful for all she does behind the scenes. Jamie was born and raised in Michigan, and is currently residing in Winters, Texas. Her family includes her parents, siblings, and nephews along with one fur-baby, Jezzey, who was rescued as a kitten. She has had many years of on-the-job training at both medical and veterinary hospitals, several of those years were spent at a small veterinary practice in Michigan. Her family also had pets growing up and often helped orphaned baby animals. Horse camping trips to northern Michigan were also a great tool in learning more about horse care, as well as having a good time! Jamie has many interests outside of working with animals which include photography, nature, cooking/baking, supporting University of Michigan football, and playing Hayday (a computer game). She is also very passionate about her Biblical Faith and sponsoring children through World Vision.
